I just got done talking to Chele on Msn. She's the lady I went to Minnesota with one time, and Omaha. She's so awesome. She's like my dad's age, I know her through him.

This is a brief explanation of why I'm interested in studying what I'm going to be, because people always ask me or wonder and it's complicated, well not really but it's a long story.

Basically...

The main reason I'm interested in the Information Technology field is because..Maribeth used to work at EAI (now known as UGS) in Ames. They laid hundreds of people off after she had worked there for idk 10-15 years or more, not sure. It is like an Engineering Animation and Computer Information Systems business type of place. They've made different games and other shit I'm not sure. Anyway, so back in the day, I used to go hang out with her at work. She had her own office and everything and I would always hang out with the computer guys there, like the webmaster and the guy who works with and monitors all the servers (Todd) (can't think of the name of his job right now) but yeah we hung out and had tons of fun there. Todd is still there but Cory the webmaster got laid off too and started his own business. I used to wanna be a webmaster because of him so my dad always called me the webmaster babe lol but then I realized eh nope too much computer science for me. So anyway yes that is the main reason why, because of them guys and mb and hanging out with them so much being around computers and all of that.. Oh and also they had take your kid to work days there but even though I wasn't mb's kid she would take me and I would get to see the jobs they do there with computers so yeah...

Technical Writing...because Chele got me interested in it, that is one of the job titles she holds is a technical writer, I never heard of it before until she told me about it. She got me thinking about it/interested in it because I like English and Writing. They have tech. writers for all diff. fields, technology, health, science...etc..and so..since I also love computers..I will be a tech. writer for the information technology field...and she gave me a heads up..because to become a tech. writer you really only need the certifercate, but...Chele told me it's a very wise idea to have a bachelors along with it...so I'm getting a bachelors in the Information Technology field since I want to be a tech. writer in that area...
